AL
MANJARA, the joinery subsidiary
was incorporated in 1997 as a separate division
of Gulf Housing & Construction Co., to execute
carpentry & joinery works and to carry out
large prestigious projects including banks, hotels
and palace fit outs.
By
Jan 2001, the division was certified by the Civil
Defence Authority of Qatar
for manufacturing Fire
Door set capable of standing more
than 90 minutes of exposure. These can be manufactured
in a wide range of veneered / paint finishes to
client's requirements.
Initially
set up to cater the Construction division and
the Spacemaker, it has grown to be one of Qatar's
leading joinery manufacturers undertaking projects
in its own right.
Al
Manjara
is operating in a purpose built 3500m2 fully
equipped workshop.
Al
Manjara specialises itself in designing &
manufacturing Internal and External furniture,
Office furniture, Reception counters, Complete
joinery fitouts to offices, Bar counters, flush
/ panelled / carved doors, and various other timber
joinery works all customised to meet client’s
requirements.
To
maintain the superior quality and productivity,
Al Manjara workshop is equipped with a wide range
of hand tools and Heavy machinery apart from skilled
workmanship. The machinery is connected to a state
of the art Cyclone Dust Extraction System (Mfr:
M/s Air plants Ltd, UK) with a capacity of 180,000
to 190,000 CFM run by a powerful 55 KW / 75 HP
motor unit to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Compressed air is supplied from two heavy duty
ELGI Screw air compressors (along with separate
air drier) with a capacity of 76 cfm / 10 bar
max / 20 HP per unit.

include Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Airways, Qatar
National Hotels, Qatar National Bank, Doha Bank,
HSBC, Commercial Bank, Ramada Hotel, Movenpick
Hotel, Qatar Airways, HSBC Middle East, etc.
Recent
projects include the Complete fit outs to the
Commercial Bank in and around Doha, Doha Bank
branches, Renovation of the Sheraton Doha Hotel
& Resort - Phase II, Qatar National Bank Head
Quarters renovation, Furniture for Qatar International
Islamic Bank, Furniture fit out to the offices
for Madina Group in the Industrial Area and Ernst
& Young Office in Toyota Towers.
