HOUSING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY W.L.L.,
which was established in 1976. It is now
a joint venture with Messrs. INTERSERVE
PLC of the United Kingdom
as a Building and Civil works Contractor.
It incorporates a separate division specialising
in the manufacturing of SPACEMAKER
portable pre-fabricated buildings as well
as a AL MANJARA [JOINERY]
division.
The SPACEMAKER Division is the market leader
in Qatar for the manufacture and supply
of all types of portable quality buildings
ranging from Private Villas to Accommodation
Camps for major projects.
Qatar,
today is currently experiencing rapid expansion
and development in all aspects, thanks to
the wise leadership of His Highness the
Emir and his Government. The hectic pace
of development and growth, thanks to the
tapping of its immense natural gas wealth,
is seeing Qatar establishing itself as one
of the prominent finance and business centres
in the Middle East.
Gulf Housing & Construction Company, which
has grown to be one of the major construction
companies in the country, if not the region,
can pride itself as one of the major contributors
to the changing scenario.
